5. Narrowing attention to immediate (external) function (seeing the ball or target, etc)
6.Being "quiet" (relaxed) as you switch over to "automatic pilot" (muscle memory)

Through the use of these strategies, a player can be greatly assisted in establishing control of his emotion and tension level.
